Do you have experience of working in a supply chain function and are you looking to take the next step into supply chain management?

As Supply Chain Manager you will be a key member of the Operations Team and you will take responsibility for the end to end supply chain activities for the company’s UK business with a strong focus on purchasing.

With one direct report, you will take care of all global purchasing tasks and maintain and develop new and existing supplier relationships. You will work alongside demand planning, you will manage inventory levels and working with the marketing function, you will help coordinate trade shows. You will have responsibility for the warehouse functions including reviewing service levels and rates.

You must have experience of working in a similar role and be educated to degree level or equivalent. You will also have working knowledge of ERP systems. Our client is looking for someone who is self-motivated, proactive and confident with awareness of external influences such as current legislation and environmental factors. You must be an excellent communicator, have strong project management skills and be proficient In MS Office, Excel in particular.

This is a lovely company to work for and unusually you must have a love for animals as employees are able to bring their dogs to work. Due to the location of the office, you must also be a car owner as the area isn’t served by public transport and is in a rural location.
