A Supply Chain Analyst (Pharma) is required to take up this excellent opportunity to join a well-established and highly ambitious, UK-based specialty Pharmaceutical company. The main purpose of the role is to devise ways to optimize inventory control procedures as well as identifying material supply requirements, managing stock and analyzing data to provide required information and valuable insights.

This is a responsible role and the Supply Chain Analyst (Pharma) will play an important part in the continued success of the business. In return, he or she will receive a competitve salary package and be joining a successful company with a positive and progressive working environment.

Principle Accountabilities of the Supply Chain Analyst (Pharma)

  • Maintaining the integrity and accuracy of the interface between the company's computer systems and manufacturer's systems

  • Responsible for ensuring inventory levels with the Sage system are correct and accurate

  • Lead investigations to provide root cause analysis and corrective actions for inventory discrepancies.

  • Monitoring and reporting on inventory service levels

  • Identifying and resolving any problems with the service

  • Ensuring that new products and product changes are integrated smoothly and efficiently into the supply chain

  • Stock levels are maintained and are sufficient to meet all reasonably anticipated customer requirements

  • The value of stock held is within targets set by the Board

  • Time expired stock is avoided wherever possible

  • Placing stock orders with our manufacturers and liaising with them to ensure that stock is produced in the correct quantities, to the agreed specifications and on time

  • Highlight stock issues and drive resolution.

  • To ensure stock utilised on a FEFO basis (first expired first out)

  • Being a point of contact for our subsidiary in Dubai

Essential Skills, Qualifications and Behaviours of the Supply Chain Analyst (Pharma)

  • Expertise in MRP & Inventory Control

  • Expertise and knowledge of information technology and quality management systems

  • Strong Excel, Sage MMS / 200 and Word knowledge

  • 5 years' experience within Inventory planning

  • Trustworthy, confidential, dedicated and approachable

  • Must have good communication skills, be a team player and have good attention to detail
