This is an exciting position within a fast-growing company who are one of the UK’s largest cycle training organisations. They run a number of courses and initiatives, providing services designed to inspire more people to cycle.  

They are based in Cambridge and due to their significant growth are looking for someone to lead their fantastic operations team in continuing to make sure they have efficient processes in place to enable their courses to run smoothly.

In this role you will:

  • Lead the operations team in improving their systems and ensuring the company meets their targets for quality and numbers of training courses
  • Oversee record keeping and administrative processes
  • Provide financial oversight and oversee all bookkeeping and invoicing arrangements
  • Inspire the team and ensure they have the necessary skills to fulfil their roles
  • Maintain positive customer and client relationships
  • Be involved in a variety of projects across the business and provide support as and where necessary

To be successful in this role, you will:

  • Demonstrate 2-3 years’ management experience
  • Have experience of working in a small business
  • Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Be educated to A-level or equivalent as a minimum
  • Be able to develop strong relationships, communicate enthusiasm to and leave a positive impression on others
  • Be able to work efficiently independently as well as with a team to develop and grow the role
  • Be highly motivated to make a difference and ideally have a passion for cycling!
