Procurement Manager for leading house building organisation.

Your new company
You will be working for a leading house building organisation at their West Midlands head office base in Birmingham.

Your new role
You will ensure the efficient running of the materials and sub-contract purchasing function and co-ordinate with other departments to ensure financial control of all materials and sub-contracts purchased for building operations. This must be within full compliance of the Best Practice procedures and the Company's Health, Safety & Environmental Policies.
* Ensure materials are delivered to sites in line with site programmes and specification, and are purchased at competitive prices.
* Maintain a library of standard house type material schedules.
* Produce site specific material schedules and process material orders.
* Monitor material order values against budget values and address large variations with the Regional Commercial Manager / Associate Buying Director

What you'll need to succeed
You will need experience working within a residential housing builder. A good understanding of building regulations and legal obligations. MUST have a good knowledge of construction methods and materials,
