Warehouse Manager
£30,000 - £35,000 per annum
Aston, Birmingham
Responsibilities:
- Lead, advise, coach and motivate the team, ensuring maximum performance is achieved
- Control and maintain the day to day running of the warehouse and distribution activities
- Maintain optimum stock levels to meet demand without holding surplus stock
- Ensure understanding and compliance of Company Health and Safety Policies and Procedures
- Maintain distribution costs per tyre with budget
- Maximise rebate opportunities
- Minimise stock write off
- Ensure adherence to KPI's e.g. picking and manifest discrepancies kept <1%
- Maintain statistics for Tools and Consumable purchases
- Maintain the provision of tools, consumables, workwear and PPE
- Oversee HR requirements across warehouse including recruitment and retention
- Conduct audits as required
- Ensure full compliance to Company policies and procedures
- Work flexibly to support business
- Create a close working relationship with key stakeholders
- Strive to maximise internal and external customer satisfaction
MUST HAVE:
- Supervising or managing a team of people
- Commercial tyre experience
- Managing customer expectations and demands to provide outstanding customer service
- Working under pressure often to tight deadlines
- Working to defined key performance indicators
