Reporting into the General Manager, this role would suit a Logistics Analyst, Data Analyst, Process Improvement Manager, CI Manager or Inventory Manager with experience of Change and Supply Chain transformation.

THE ROLE:

  • Work with internal & external stakeholders to identify the specific desired outcomes needed for each project.
  • Lead and manage a stock control function (4 people).
  • Produce Weekly Profit & Loss Accounts for the contract.
  • KPI metrics including productivity, volumes, space fill, etc.
  • Own and drive CI initiatives across the operation.
  • System implementation and testing.
  • Operational Projects.
  • Adopt and foster a 'Change Mentality' and inspire other people to take the same approach.
  • Use of Prince2 and/or Six Sigma principles to determine the correct course of action.
  • Make recommendations to the leadership about proposed Logistics changes.

THE PERSON:

  • Exposure as a Logistics Analyst, Data Analyst, Process Improvement Manager, CI Manager or Inventory Manager.
  • Decent experience of warehouse operations and warehouse flows.
  • 'Can-Do' mentality - offering solutions to problems rather than passing it on to others to resolve.
  • Experience of leading a small team.
  • Strong systems experience - has to possess advanced Excel skills.
  • Customer-facing to the client (as they are based on-site).
  • WMS or Supply Chain Systems experience is desirable.
  • Six Sigma experience is desirable.
  • Experience of project managing Change and CI methodologies within a business.
  • Able to grasp the wide breadth of the business and get involved with whatever areas need improving.
  • Clear and effective communicator.
  • Able to liase with Board-level to shop-floor level colleagues.
  • Able to think beyond the obvious.
  • Open to new ideas and with a viewpoint that "anything is possible".
