Macildowie is pleased to be recruiting an experienced Supply Chain Manager to join a Global business based in Leicester.

Reporting directly to the Global Supply Chain Manager, this highly visible role will be responsible for the following:

* Leading a team of dedicated Supply Chain employees, across multiple sites to support business metrics
* Strategically focus on Material Planning, Demand and Order and Finished goods shipping.
* Develop robust process to enhance parts availability
* Work both internally & externally to production succinct production schedules
* Identify areas for improvement across the Supply Chain and the KPI performance
* Manage performance of the team in an efficiently to ensure retention, upskilling and succession planning .

To be considered for this role, you must be able to display the following skills and abilities:

* Previous experience in an Automotive or Aerospace company.
* Supply Chain experience at a senior level within a complex environment.
* Material planning experience with International shipping and distribution knowledge.
* Lean manufacturing methodology
* Experienced in managing teams of a significant size successfully
* Ideally APICS qualified or equivalent
* Strong interpersonal skills coupled with ability to communicate articulately.

This is a rare opportunity to join a global business at a senior level, and depending on experience will offer a salary of up to £80,000 plus Bonus, Car Allowance, Share Scheme and a host of other benefits
