My client based in Hemel Hempstead is looking to recruit a Logistics Controller to join their team. Reporting to the Logistics Manager, the main duties of the position involve:
- Ensuring that stock levels are maintained within agreed targets.
- Management of customer delivery performance.
- Liaison with local manufacturing plants to ensure supply of parts to customer requirements.
- Minimisation of airfreight and special transport costs.
- Follow up daily deliveries.
- Daily contact via email, phone and occasionally face-to-face with customers.
The ideal candidate will have previous Logistics / Production Control experience.
