eSift are currently looking for a self-starter with strong administration skills, preferably with previous experience within purchasing to join our client, the leading global integrated security company, specialising in the provision of security products, services and solutions.

Location:             Tewkesbury (GL20)  

Salary:                 £21,000 per annum

This is an exciting opportunity, based within our client’s Technical Services department which is a centralised function supporting the operational side of the UK business.

The main objective of this role is to process all orders placed via the company systems, processing all subsequent purchase orders through the company finance/MRP system to 3rd party suppliers.

You will also be responsible for the timely processing of orders from operations to ensure project timelines can be met, placement of purchase orders on suppliers in a timely and accurate manner ensuring goods receipt locations are clearly identified and correct, virtual picking/shipping of products & service stock to engineers on a daily basis from the outsourced stock locations, executing ‘call-off’ purchase orders with suppliers as required, processing order acknowledgements, expediting purchase orders with suppliers & update Business system, processing supplier returns, completing  internal documentation and general Admin duties.

To be successful in this position you will have/be;  

  • Previous Office administration experience ideally within general purchasing or order processing
  • Effective communicator
  • Numerate, Accuracy and attention to detail
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills and a good working knowledge of ERP systems
  • Hard Working / Adaptable / Flexible / Organised and able to work on your own initiative
  • Able to perform in a multi-tasking environment
  • Good standard of general education with a minimum C grade at GCSE (or equivalent) in English & Maths
  • A reliable and trustworthy team player
  • Knowledge of MS Great Plains is a desirable but not an essential requirement
