Warehouse Team Manager required for a leading UK distributor who offer a stable position within a modern environment. This is a new site and new opportunity due to ongoing growth in the last 12 months.
The role would suit applicants from ANY warehouse or distribution background. Applicants from FMCG/food background will have a considerable advantage. To apply for the role you must have previous management / supervisory / team leader experience.
The role will involve the day to day hands on management of a warehouse operation. You will be responsible for managing a team to ensure that goods are received, stored, picked and dispatched in a timely manner and within budget. You will be responsible for training staff and maintaining a safe working environment.

The Role:
* Daily management of a warehouse operation
* Overseeing goods in and goods out
* Ensuring that goods are received, stored, picked and dispatched in a timely manager and within budget.
* First line management of warehouse staff, including staff training/disciplinaries
The Person:
* Must transfer from a warehouse/distribution background
* Will ideally transfer from FMCG/food background
* Must have previous management / supervisory / team leader experience
