The client is looking for Sea/Ocean Freight - Business Development Manager - Freight Forwarding - experience; with experience of negotiating rates for full and part loads.

Driving new business in Sea & Air Freight
Negotiating rates for full and part loads
Candidate must have tender, bidding and negotiation experience
Freight Forwarding experience (essential)
Proactive and manage own diary
Kent based (Dartford etc.)
Profile
Sea/Ocean Freight - Business Development Manager:
3 years minimum experience of Freight Forwarding (mandatory)
Degree Educated (desirable)
Demonstrate ownership to resolve challenging customer issues, escalating when necessary
Strong relationship building skills
Account Management experience (desirable - however this is a full business development role)
Excellent communication, both verbal and written.
Develop and/or understand performance metrics to assist with driving business results.
Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented work environment
Entrepreneurial spirit
Kent based (Dartford etc.)
Job Offer
£30,000 - 40,000 base + company car/car allowance + uncapped bonus
