The Paterson Group in Aylesbury are looking for an experienced Office Admin to work for a well established transport logistics company based in in Aylesbury

The role is varied between logistic planning & general administration. The logistics side of the role will require training and takes more time to learn.

This would suit any candidate who already holds any experience at managing an office, prioritising the workload to ensure a smooth running of the office, dealing with VIP customers and employed drivers to ensure that impeccable customer services are always provided and bringing new ideas to the office to help improve the current procedures.

Responsibilities:

  • Computer work such as Data Entry/Bookings/Checking – An eye for detail and accuracy is of utmost importance

  • Telephone Calls – Client/Driver/VIP/Journalist –polite, Upbeat confident telephone manner essential

  • Daily/Weekly Reports and statistics

  • Managing servicing schedules for all Company Vehicles and ensuring all driver documentation is completed/checked and filed

  • Organising/Booking Loans and any associated vehicle preparation

  • Retention of mobile and work folder for out of hours contact when required

  • Driving of company and customer cars when requested

Key Skills:

  • Excellent knowledge of UK road/rail networks, preferably with a background/experience of administration/planning in a Transport environment.

  • Reliable, punctual, honest and trustworthy. Hands on and willing to support the Company in all avenues/roles.

  • Accurate, self-motivated, organised, articulate and able to work to deadline, alone and as part of a team

  • Lateral thinker and ability to work under pressure
  • Clean driving license
