Our international manufacturing client who is part of a FTSE100 group based in North Shields is looking for a Supply Chain Manager to join them on a permanent basis.
Job Role
- Manage consistency, effectiveness and cost of supply chain
- Create supply chain management strategies that increase efficiency and speed
- Provide operational support and guidance to ensure maximum productivity
- Collaborate effectively with other departments to identify development opportunities
- Automate low level orders
- Manage supplier agreements, SLA and KPIS
- Provide cost reduction plans
Skills/Experience
- Ability to work manage multiple tasks and prioritize workflow
- Clear, articulate communication skills both oral and written
- Experience of business systems e.g. Epicor, Oracle, etc.
- Solid understanding of Supply Chain Management
- Adept problem solver with a continuous improvement mindset.
- Positive and enthusiastic with effective interpersonal skills with the ability to influence others.
This role is Full Time, Monday to Friday working, usually 08.30 - 16.30
