My client in Wellingborough is seeking a Inventory Support Analyst.

Salary: circ £22,500.00

Hours: Monday to Friday - office hours

Purpose of the role:
Deliver operational and strategic reporting and targeted improvements to process within the Inventory department. Providing effective communications at all levels to how the Inventory department can improve, using data manipulation to identify and interpret where opportunities can be capitalised on and development areas are required.

Person Spec:
" Excellent MS Office skill base and advanced in Excel (understanding of macros, pivot tables, Vlook.ups, complex formulas)
" Knowledge of statistical methodologies and techniques.
" Business awareness and numerical ability
" Must be a strong communicator.
" Observe Confidentiality
" Must value operating in a collaborative and cooperative environment.
" Ability to perform under pressure and high deadline demands
" Ability to show initiative, good judgement and resourcefulness.
" Must be focused, dedicated and must possess good organisational skills.
Duties:
o Create & maintain effective reporting suite for the Inventory team and report Weekly & Monthly on agreed areas, working with the Inventory Analyst.
o Support and maintain Development of Inventory reporting tools.
o Providing accurate statistics and reports as required by your Inventory Analyst.
o Be self-sufficient in identifying opportunities to reduce impact on capacity and stock holding and evidence through monitoring and reporting.
o Work with your Manager and the National Inventory Manager to develop initiatives across the Inventory department that can optimise supply chain efficiency.
o Support the Development & maintenance of data integrity to improve planning and forecast information flow & accuracy.
o Streamline current reports, remove duplication and implement more automation, to increase efficiencies and free up time for the team.
o Review of processes to increase efficiencies and reduce waste.
o Responsible for administration, database design, security and maintenance.
o Support the preparation of presentations, monitoring and maintaining the quality nature of database systems.
o Sharing the knowledge of analysis techniques and data coding within the inventory team.
