Cherry Professional are currently recruiting for a Permanent, Full Time, Procurement Officer for their Mansfield based client.
The role will be to provide an efficient procurement service which delivers optimal value for money, cost savings and a high quality service. To manage approved suppliers and procurement together with Capital Project Contract Management and administration associated with these functions.
Approved Suppliers
Ensuring all current suppliers are approved by an agreed target date and selected for the type of procurement supply.
Ensuring all new suppliers are approved by an agreed target date and selected for the type of procurement supply.
Creating a supplier assessment process and an audit regime for key contractors systems.
Procurement
Reviewing expenditure identifying where central purchasing opportunities exist.
Identifying expenditure and advise where saving could be made
Working as directed by the CFO on specific areas to enable cost efficiencies to be achieved
Leading and managing procurement processes which require Tender Management >£50k and under EU threshold.
Providing information to finance for Monthly Management Accounts.
Contract Management
Working with the Premises & Estates Manager, Health & Safety and Finance Manager on Capital Project Contracts.
Ensuring Head Agreements are raised for contractors before work is let.
Ensuring Minor Works agreements are compliant with regard to financial and reference data.
Managing applications and certificates for contractors, matching invoices to certificates with retentions control management.
Service contracts
To oversee the management of the cleaning, catering and other contracted out services.
To hold review meetings
EU Tendering and other Legislative requirements
