My client based in Huntingdon is currently recruiting for a Logistics Coordinator to join their team on a Full Time Permanent basis.

The successful applicant will be expected to help in the day to day running of the office and help co-ordinate all the various aspects of the logistics and warehouse operation to ensure a smooth operation.

Duties to include:

· Getting UK Freight quotes

· Raising POs - for transport, consumables, stationary etc

· Checking all invoices to ensure accuracy

· Recording all invoices received and POs raised and reporting on costs as required

· Reporting delivery trends and highlighting issues

· Dealing with booking requests

· Co-ordinating with the Warehouse

· Communicating with the sales team both verbally and through the system

· Ensuring all duties in Logistics are up to date and prioritising workflows

· Chasing ETAs and PODs as needed

· Keeping KPIs up to date

The successful applicant will need to be able to work on their own initiative and also be comfortable working in a team. An organised approach is essential with a good attention to detail.

Hours are 9am to 5.30pm Monday to Friday with an hour for lunch.

This is a fast paced lively job which requires a good telephone manner and an organised approach to workflows but can also be very rewarding as relationships are built and problem resolutions achieved.
