Supply Chain Manager
Are you a naturally driven team leader from an Automotive or Heavy machinery Supply Chain background? Do you have substantial experience in a high-volume and fast paced material planning and dispatch management environment? If so, we could have your next opportunity waiting for you.
Our Client is looking for a Supply Chain Manager to join their team based in Desford. You will be accountable to achieve PQVC targets across enterprise supply chain measurements and key performance. In addition, you will manage and lead all facility supply chain activities including strategic process transformation, supply chain planning, material requirements management, inventory management, demand and orders management, supply chain performance and logistics.
This is an excellent opportunity with an OTE of up to £109,000 per annum, plus an excellent benefits package to include 27 days holiday (plus 8 bank holidays), Private Medical, Car Allowance of £7,380, Contributory Pension Scheme and Contributory Share Scheme.
Job Duties/Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:
Provide leadership, guidance and coaching across multiple sites
Provide an exceptional level of customer service to both internal and external partners
Develop robust processes capable of delivering high levels of machine and parts availability
Collaborate with internal and external business partners to ensure facility production schedules provide proper product availability to dealers/customers while balancing manufacturing constraint issues whilst leading facility Sales and Operations Planning conformance.
Focus on supply chain improvements against KPI's including supplier development and management
Working with product managers to ensure supply chain strategies are developed and aligned with worldwide sourcing strategies and providing inputs to supplier sourcing and resource management.
Skills, experience & qualifications you will have;
Progressive experience within the Supply Chain arena and preferably focussed within heavy equipment or automotive sectors.
Proven ability to working within a highly demanding and time sensitive environment
APICS Qualification and/or relevant degree or extensive experience reflecting senior supply chain roles.
Demonstrated experience within areas of demand management, material planning and international shipping and distribution.
Proven ability of leadership and coaching to a highly motivated and engaged team to deliver high level of progressive KPIs.
Skills, experience & qualifications you may have;
Automotive experience.
Lean Manufacturing experience.
Heavy equipment experience.
Leadership of 50 - 200 at all levels.
