Procurement Team Advisor

The organisation:  A prestigious international FTSE listed Financial Services Company headquartered in London.  

The opportunity:

A new role as a Procurement Team Advisor, based in the global headquarters, to support the Procurement team with systems and administration.  You will deliver broad activity from organising and delivering user training sessions on e-Procurement tools through to on-boarding suppliers. This is a brilliant development opportunity and you will get exposure to low-level buying and sourcing activity.  

The organisation is going through a large transformation and this is a superb opportunity to work with senior management to shape the Procurement function.  

This is a 12 month fixed term contract.  

Responsibilities:

• Support and promote the deployment of e-Procurement tools

• Work with suppliers to ensure they are on-boarded onto the e-Procurement system

• Deliver user training on the e-Procurement system

• Manage and review the contracts database to check on upcoming renewal to ensure timely supplier negotiations

• Occasional low-level buying activities with existing suppliers

• Drive and improve the reputation of Procurement   Skills and experience required: • A graduate calibre professional with a keen interest in Procurement and some experience of using e-Procurement or Finance systems

• Solid analytical skills with some experience in Excel including creating pivot tables

• Excellent time management skills

• Confident and a team player

• Inquisitive nature
