Due to expansion at a successful, family owned business in Congleton, an opportunity has arisen for a Logistics Coordinator. This is initially a temporary role but will become permanent for the right candidate.

As the Logistics Coordinator, you will be providing full support to the logistics team. This is a great opportunity for an experienced Logistics Coordinator to progress their skills further.

Main Duties include:

  • Organising collections
  • Track orders to ensure timely delivery
  • Preparing shipping goods and documents for worldwide customers
  • Maintain updated records of orders, suppliers and customers
  • Use of SAP and R3
  • Assist with any ad hoc administration duties
  • Oversee the levels of the warehouse stock and place orders as needed

The right candidate:

  • Previous experience within an Logistics role is essential
  • Strong administration skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Self-starter, pro-active, able to use own initiative and multi-task
  • Must be a hard worker, team player who wants to succeed
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Knowledge of SAP is desirable but not essential

Duration: Temp to perm

Working hours: Monday to Friday 08:30- 17:00

Pay: £25,000 per annum
