I am recruiting an Operations Manager to manage the operations (and small team) of an exciting, growing and expanding consultancy delivering high-end, professional services to the professional body sector. Folowing a period of growth, the organisation has restructured and created this new role to allow for a more efficient, effective and consistent delivery of back office support activities during core business hours.

More specifically, as Operations Manager, you will be accountable for the provision of an effective support service (which will include developing, improving and managing internal processes and systems) for both internal administration and client-facing consultancy activities. These are likely to include:

  • All processes supporting the delivery of consultancy engagements
  • Financial administration and records management
  • HR and staff development processes and procedures
  • Secretarial support and report production
  • KPI-production and related analysis
  • External contract management and arrangements, where needed.

The ideal candidate will have a solid background in office or operations management, including bookkeeping/invoicing and HR. This is a full-time, home-based role with occasional travel to meetings in Central London or elsewhere.
