Marketing Category Lead

Marketing Category Manager - £40k - £50k + package - Surrey

An international corporation are looking to urgently recruit a marketing category manager to join their exciting new procurement function. The ideal candidate will have strong technical procurement knowledge in the marketing category and will have the gravitas to liaise and influence senior stakeholders.

The procurement role will involve:

• Implementing the cost strategy and sourcing of suppliers for the entire marketing category
• The full end to end procurement of the marketing category in above the line and below the line spend
• Liaising with senior stakeholders to help implement saving strategies
• Working closely with the principal category to oversee the European and international marketing spend

The following procurement skills are required:

• Experience in sourcing, contract management and supplier relations within marketing procurement
• Strong technical procurement knowledge for the marketing category
• The ability to influence and negotiate with senior stakeholders
• CIPS and degree desirable
