BACA Workwear and Safety, a well-established workwear supplier to organisations throughout the UK, is looking for a Supply Chain Analyst to join the team based in Northampton.

We are looking for a talented Supply Chain Analyst to join the team to ensure inbound supply chain processes and inventory levels are held in the most cost-effective and efficient way.

Performance Objectives:

Reduce stock by £500k in the first 12 months
Manage the inbound inventory to increase stock turns to a minimum of 3 in year one and 4 in year 2
Improve processes and maintain availability on core stock product to 99% whilst not increasing stock

About the Supply Chain Analyst role:

Reporting to the Purchasing Manager, you will be:

  • Interpreting data and presenting findings in a clear format
  • Conducting analysis to identify areas for improvement and providing recommendations to management
  • Driving data quality improvements across the operation
  • Proactive engagement and collaboration with key stakeholders to review and refine the supply chain as business needs evolve
  • Managing stakeholders expectations through detailed requirements gathering, clear communication of delivery timelines and early notification of any issues/blockers
  • Providing accurate and insightful analysis in response to ad-hoc reporting and data analysis requests
  • Identifyng slow moving stock in time to allow sales to sell, manage stock reduction programmed to avoid having stock on the shelf which is no longer required

About you:

  • Minimum 5 GCSE A-C or higher, 2 A-levels
  • Supply Chain experience, CIPS Qualification is an advantage
  • Good influencing skills and ability to work under pressure
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills
  • Ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team
  • Ability to deliver and achieve results within demanding timescales
  • Ability to think strategically and be proactive
  • Strong business analysis and problem-solving skills
  • Self-motivated, focused and results orientated
  • Well presented with a drive to succeed and develop their career
