Your chance to join a leading Global Law firm as a Head of FM, Travel and Events Procurement, delivering sourcing projects and supporting stakeholders globally.  

We are looking for an experienced and ambitious FM, Travel and Events procurement professional for a leading Global Law firm based in London, due to internal growth and investment into the Procurement function.    

As an experienced Procurement Specialist, you will develop and maintain Category plans for FM, Travel and Events and deliver Sourcing Projects by working closely with internal stakeholders across the global organisation.

The Head of FM, Travel and Events Procurement role will play an influential part in raising the profile of procurement within the business and working closely with the Head of Procurement, helping to deliver procurement strategy across a number of category areas.

This position will offer the right candidate exposure to senior Partner stakeholders within the business and the opportunity to influence and challenge the status quo.  You will have a certain resilience about you to engage with Lawyers and Partners alike, but have the skill set to promote procurement and gain buy in by offering leading strategic solutions.

  • Become recognised as the FM, Travel and Events sourcing expert

  • Create Category Plans to deliver value to the firm from spend on FM, Travel and Events

  • Plan and lead Strategic Sourcing Projects from inception through to Contract Award and implementation

  • Managing and conducting tender presentations

  • Proactively identify changes and improvements to the Procurement service offering, policies and practices

  • Build and maintain strong internal relationships with key stakeholders in the firm

  • Analysing Supply Markets including preparing, issuing and evaluating RFI’s 

  • Agreeing supplier Selection Criteria

Experience Required:  

  • Degree level qualification preferred

  • Ideally a CIPS professional qualification

  • Experience in Sourcing in either Facilities Management, Travel, Marketing or Events

  • Considerable experience working in a large-scale corporate environment managing £multi-million projects.

  • Ideally experienced in managing Contracts and Supplier Relationships

  • Very strong negotiating skills

  • Ability to build trusted relationships and collaborate with a broad range of diverse and geographically spread out stakeholders
