A long established international trading and logistics company with a wide and diverse range of products within the seeds, nuts and dried fruit sectors has a newly created role for an individual with a background in contracts/logistics administration.
This is envisaged to start as a hybrid role but with the possibility of moving into either a dedicated contracts or logistics position in the future, depending on the individual’s skills set and needs of the company.
Duties are likely to include but may not be limited to:
- Issuing, sending out, and received returned signed contracts for clients/suppliers
- Liaison with clients/suppliers on shipping instructions
- Preparing shipping documentation
- Ensuring goods and documents are prepared as per contract
- Keeping clients/suppliers/internal traders updated
- Ensuring in-house records are maintained and accurate
- Ensuring receipt of samples
- Other duties as may be relevant
Skills, Experience and Qualifications
- Knowledge of Incoterms
- Knowledge and experience of logistics
- Knowledge and experience of contract management
- Good user level of Word, Excel
- At least 1 year’s experience in a similar environment
- Good organisational and communication skills
- Able to prioritise own work load and work under pressure
- English at native level for business
- Additional European language an advantage
- Excellent telephone manner
- Good standard of education, ideally to degree level
