An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Supply Chain Assistant to join a hugely successful company who supply oral, hair and skincare products to the retail industry across the UK.

You will be joining a friendly and dynamic team with the opportunity to develop and build on your supply chain experience.

You will be a great communicator, both written and verbal. You will also have strong attention to detail and a flexible, adaptable approach to work.

Key responsibilities:

  • Work closely with sales and marketing to build launch and promotions forecasts
  • Demand planning for approximately 400 - 500 product lines in the UK and Ireland.
  • Manage a project focused on implementing a new process of supplying products from France to Ireland
  • Be the point of contact between the UK warehouse and the French Distribution Centre
  • Monitor stock levels and liaise with the warehouses for all queries relating to stock.
  • Ensure stock levels in the two warehouses are maintained at all times
  • Manage the stock keeping units for 6 brands and the flow of goods between 3 countries
  • Set up new products on the company and customer’s systems

What the client are looking for:

  • At least 1 years’ experience in a similar role or a graduate with a relevant degree, e.g supply chain or logistics
  • Great communication skills with attention to detail
  • Intermediate-Advanced excel skills - you must be able to use Vlookup formulas and pivot tables etc and not be afraid of them!
  • Passion for numbers
  • Ability to prioritise workload and work to deadlines
  • A good sense of humour is also required!
