Job Title: Mortgage Operations Manager

Salary: Circa £41,000 plus benefits and bonus

About the role
We have a superb opportunity for a Mortgage Operations Manager to join a progressive and forward-thinking specialist mortgage lender that distributes via the financial intermediary channel in a market that is currently undergoing phenomenal growth.
Following recent business growth, this role has been created to take on responsibility for leading and managing the teams responsible for end to end mortgage processing. This exciting role offers the successful candidate an exceptional opportunity to lead and grow a team, whilst influencing the future of the company's operational plans.
Responsibilities and Experience required for the role of Mortgage Operations Manager
- Lead, manage and develop the mortgage processing teams to deliver an excellent customer journey
- Work collaboratively with all stakeholders to develop and manage the business processes and associated service levels, delivering an excellent customer journey whilst driving ongoing efficiencies and identifying, mitigating and monitoring risks
- Ensure current processes are challenged and suggest improved ways of working across the business
- Work with the compliance teams to monitor and develop oversight controls to ensure consistent delivery of good outcomes for customers
- Develop, analyse and monitor MI reports
- Manage third party relationships to ensure service levels, controls and governance are maintained
- Build the mortgage processing departments to support the delivery of the company's objectives
- Support the development and implementation of new systems and processes within the business
- The successful candidate will have proven experience of managing and improving mortgage processing departments in the UK regulated mortgage environment. You will also need to have an extensive understanding of the mortgage lifecycle, underwriting experience with experience of leading a team, producing MI and managing relationships with stakeholders
