Our client is looking for an experienced Supplier Management Executive to work in their Edinburgh city centre offices. This new and exciting company is growing fast and needs someone to help their teams deliver a quality service and continue to develop. You will be part of a dynamic, creative and supportive environment in order to expand our client's potential.
Responsibilities- Plan, resource and lead the contract and supplier team to deliver on our customer promise
- Create and retain relationships with partners and suppliers to build assets in the city.
- Recruit, hire, support, and train new contractors to ensure optimal operation.
- Communicate with contractors and suppliers in real time of their work to provide support and enable them to always deliver a excellent standard and great maintenance.
- Improve processes to increase efficiency across the board.
- Able to multitask and prioritise in a fast paced environment.
- Motivate a team to reach set goals and objectives
- Previous experience of working in a team
- Degree equivalent to 2:1 or above (or expected), or relevant experience
- Someone who enjoys working with people and building relationships
- Able to seek thorough context before coming to a judgement of a situation
- Someone who is able to get the job done whatever obstacle presents itself
- Excellent attention to detail
- Organised and efficient with time
- Excited about using technology to transform an industry
- Starting salary of £21,000
