An award-winning media agency are looking to add an TV Buyer to their broadcast team. The company have one of the biggest third-party email portfolios, giving you exposure to some top brands in the UK. They invest in their employees to produce the best work for their clients, giving you the opportunity to benefit from high level training as well as career progression. They are looking for a team-player who is up for a challenge and over-delivering on the client's expectations by going the extra mile.

The Role:

  • Gain a full understanding on the mechanics involved in the trading of TV Airtime in order to deliver all TV campaigns to specified target and value.
  • Liaise with the senior buyer who will interpret client and planning briefs from the business team.
  • Ensure different campaigns are delivered by the relevant Sales house in both value and quality.
  • Interacting regularly with media owners and media planners to make sure deadlines and briefs are met.
  • Make sure all the media bookings are accurately booked on the system to be able to constantly chase value and campaign improvement.

The Candidate:

  • Having a passion for sales and interest in the media industry will allow you to be successful within this company.
  • Understanding of the current and future TV market will help you when jumping straight into the job.
  • Being organised and able to multi-task will allow you to juggle multiple projects for all the agencies and clients
  • Excellent ability to use Microsoft Excel will allow you to put together detailed and high-quality material and data for your clients and your team.
  • Good communication skills will allow you to effectively liaise with sales houses and media planners and help them with all of their needs
