A global Defence and Infrastructure technology design, implementation and control business seek to recruit a Sub Contract Procurement Manager experienced in Aerospace, Defence OR Electronic contracts on a permanent basis.
This Sub Contract Procurement Manager will support key projects within a specific business unit working with senior stakeholders within the programme and the wider procurement function to develop, implement and evolve project procurement strategies.
Applicants for this Sub Contract Procurement Manager must be eligible to gain SC clearance.

Salary - £50,000 - £58,500
Key roles and responsibilities for Sub Contract Procurement Manager role and will not be limited to:
- Drive and lead Procurement/supply chain strategies to support the programme
- Management and reporting of key Procurement issues
- Identify solutions for complex areas of potential risk/opportunity e.g. sub-contract risk, liability and deliver solutions/mitigations
- Procurement focal point for the programme area and suppliers regarding escalated supply chain matters
- Construct and lead the contracts and supply chain management Life Cycle Management (LCM) deliverables
- Procurement Resource Management of within programme
- Understanding of Export Compliance/export controls
Key experience skills and experience required for Sub Contract Procurement Manager job applicant role:
- Experience of working within a Procurement function - Defence, Electronic, Aerospace or similar field.
- A strong understanding and proven experience in Sub Contract Procurement Management
- Working knowledge of export controls, ITAR - preferred
- Eligible to gain UK SC clearance
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
