Materials Planning and Logistics Manager

We have a fantastic opportunity for a Materials, Planning and Logistics Manager to join a leading global Design, Engineering and Manufacturer of HVAC, Air Handling, Heating and Cooling systems.

£60,000 - £65,000 + car + bonus + generous benefits

As the Materials Planning and Logistics Manager you will be fundamental to the future success, growth and improvement of the materials and logistics for the manufacturing / production environment.

Specifically you will be experienced and able to

  • Coach and Drive Change and Continuous improvement across MP&L (Supply Chain).
  • Structure planning strategy for Materials, Inventory and Logistics (minimum, maximum, OTIF)
  • Use InfoFlo CRM/ERP to its full potential to increase Inventory availability, whilst minimising costs.
  • Implement and deliver operational process change, in culture, process improvement, process controls (Lean, Six Sigma)
  • Work closely with production to increase process, availability, output and forecasts are met
  • Drive a better culture and people management
  • Improve Health and Safety.

The Successful Applicant

  • A proven track record of delivering Change and Process Improvement across MP&L functions, within a global manufacturing environment.
  • Inventory Management using InfoFlo or similar MRP, (min, max, OTIF)
  • Managing Production in an assembly environment as a minimum, ideally managing Operations in the Manufacturing and Production industry with assembly included as manufacturing processes.
  • Able to initiate and make improvements quickly and alone. Passion for improvement and results orientated.
  • LEAN, SIX Sigma, root cause analysis and improvement.
  • Degree, HNC, HND, CIPS and or the knowledge equivalent in a manufacturing, production or engineering discipline will be considered for this role.
  • The capability to where multiple hats
  • An accomplished Manager who is able to lead by example.
  • A proven track record of quantifiable achievements managing Operations in a manufacturing / assembly environment.

What's on Offer

The basic salary is between £60,000 and £65,000 + car + bonus + generous benefits
