Our client is an exciting business within luxury/beauty and are building on phenomenal growth. They are looking to recruit an ambitious customer supply planner to join their expanding team. This is a great opportunity for someone who is hungry to develop their supply chain career.


The Customer Supply Chain Planner for Own Channel is the glue between internal sales and operational teams as well as customers and our fulfilment partners, driving our operational execution and service levels. You will be looking at getting the balance just right between operational efficiency and delivering exceptional customer service to redefine the best offering in the industry - we are not looking to be second place here, only the best will do.

We are looking for someone who is an excellent communicator and relationship builder, who is willing to roll up their sleeves and get stuck into operational detail, but can also identify and address long-term challenges in a fast-growing business.

Role Accountabilities:

  • As the primary contact for our Ecommerce and Customer Care teams for everything .com as well as our National Accounts team and Own Store Business Managers, you will have a very strong influence on how these partners value the efficiency and competence of our operations. To be successful, you will need to :
  •     Communicate in a pro-active, informative, and collaborative manner to manage expectations in the event of new stores, new products, marketing activity, operational delays, out of stocks, etc.
  •     Manage and streamline order to receipt flow as well as Systems administration and ERP health checks (part/not fulfilled orders; month-end processes; file timings and issues etc.)
  •     Optimise reverse logistics for .com.
  •     Provide support and assistance to the regional Customer Supply Chain Manager and the National Accounts team on the performance of the day-to-day operations and operational concerns.
  •     Understand operational weaknesses and highlight/implement solutions to improve customer service and delivery efficiencies.
  •     Have a strong awareness of short term commercial and marketing activities which could have impacts on the effectiveness of the operations and pro-actively manage these business requirements with the support of key stakeholders.
  •     Reporting into the regional Customer Supply Chain Manager
  •     Supporting the regional National Accounts and Ecommerce functions as the first point of contact for Supply Chain queries.

Desired Skills and Experience:

Key Selection Criteria:

  •     A strong educational background
  •     Showing outstanding attention to detail, identifying and addressing anomalies quickly
  •     Able to demonstrate examples of building and improving customer relationships
  •     Able to demonstrate real examples of taking ownership of projects/improvements right through to the end result
  •     Experience with an ERP system is highly desirable, someone IT savvy and confident with Excel who is able to bring experience of improved information sharing both internally and externally
  •     Being entrepreneurial; gets things done and constantly looking for ways to improve
