Senior Procurement Manager (SRM & Supplier Risk) for a Leading Global Law Firm based in Central London

You will join one of the world's leading law firms based in Central London. They have a global reach across the Americas, Asia and Europe. The key areas they focus on are capital markets, corporate and Mergers and Acquisitions; Finance and banking, real estate, tax, pensions and employment; litigation and dispute resolution.

Your new role
As a Senior Procurement Manager you will be responsible for the SRM and Risk Management which will include the overall responsibility for the firm's global SRM policy and process along with the management of third party supplier risk. You will focus on continuous improvement for SRM frameworks and guidelines to ensure best procurement practice.

You will be responsible for delivering cost savings and performance improvements, as well as looking at supplier risk mitigation plans. You will work closely with IT Risk, Risk & Compliance and the IT Vendor Management teams to ensure an aligned approach towards SRM.

What you'll need to succeed
You will need strong stakeholder engagement skills as you will be liaise with senior stakeholders up to and including Partners and the COO. You will need prior experience with Vendor Management/SRM on a global scale with the ability to advise and recommend best procurement practice. The CIPS qualification is highly desirable but not essential.

In addition you will need to be able to demonstrate that you have experience managing challenging stakeholder relationships, having presented to senior leadership teams.
