Associate Procurement Executive - £30k - £35k + Package - London
Our client is a specialist procurement transformation consultancy targeting critical hires to join their growing organisation. After a period of rapid expansion this boutique consultancy are seeking out bright and talented candidates with a passion for procurement. The successful applicant will be given a unique opportunity for rapid career progression with a clearly defined path to a procurement executive within 6-12 months. This is a challenging and dynamic role, offering the opportunity to work closely with globally recognisable organisations. In turn, you will receive excellent training to equip you with all the skills necessary to become a specialist procurement executive.
Main procurement responsibilities include:
- Work closely with clients to maximise value across the category
- Understand the client's complex procurement issues and offer innovative solutions that yield results
- Work closely with management on key procurement areas while working independently on individual projects
- Strong negotiating skills with the ability to manage and negotiate contracts
- Build strong working relationships with clients and suppliers
Key skills and attributes include:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Project management expertise with a hands-on approach to procurement
- Very self-motivated with a strong work ethic and a proactive approach to procurement that produces results
- An individual who works well both independently and within a team
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to analyse data and identify key procurement opportunities
