Business Manager - Operational Risk, Risk & Control
Major investment bank based in the city requires an experienced Business Manager to support the banks Front Office businesses to achieve sustainable strategies, supervision, operating practices & governance aligned with regulatory requirements & Bank policies & risk appetite.
The successful candidate will be responsible for performing a broad range of supervisory activities, including managing the supervision process, identification of control issues & preparation of metrics reporting to the Conduct Risk Committee. The candidate will also provide support on a number of large scale business compliance programs (e.g. MiFID, MAR, Volcker) to ensure the bank is compliant with its regulatory commitments. Additionally the candidate will contribute to the design, implementation & improvement of controls & documentation to enhance the BAU supervision processes.
The candidate MUST HAVE:
* Must have at least 3 years of experience in Capital Markets/Investment banking
* Experience of working with large volume of data & strong analytical skills - ability to draw conclusions & identify risks from large dataset.
* Strong written & verbal communication skills; Comfortable communicating with all levels within the organisation.
* Strong problem solving skills & ability to proactively identify risks / issues & recommend solutions.
* Understanding of regulatory environment & front office supervisory framework (Mifid, MaR)
* Must be proficient in MS Word, Excel, & PowerPoint.
