A new opportunity has arisen at Gestamp UK Limited for an ambitious individual looking to further their career in the Logistics Department. Rotating shifts- 6am - 2.15pm one week Monday to Thursday, with an earlier finish on a Friday - 6am - 1:15pm 2.15pm - 10.30pm the following week with an shorter day on Friday 1:15pm - 8:30pm Company Benefits: *Holiday Pay *Training and ongoing support *Progression potential *PPE provided (except safety footwear - to be provided by you) *Rest area with vending machines *Free Parking on-site Key Tasks and Responsibilities of the role to include: Loading and unloading of trailers/vehicles as required Accurate receiving of stock using company system Ensure timely delivery of materials and components to manufacturing Ensure finished goods are collected from manufacturing in a timely manner Dispatch of product and materials using company system and in compliance with customer and international standards Take an active part within a team environment and contribute to improvements and team objectives Active involvement in Inventory management within the department Ensure an Excellent Standard of housekeeping is maintained by carrying out general housekeeping duties including sweeping and cleaning work area, help maintain yard tidiness, emptying bins, etc. Must be PC literate and have a working knowledge of logistics systems/methodology; training of in-house system will be give.
