Hotel Operations Manager - £40000 - £45000 Basic Salary plus Bonus
Our client, a highly-successful online hotel brand, are looking for a Hotel Operations Manager to manage their hotel partnerships.
You will be joining a one-of-a-kind environment, where technology and people work in perfect sync to deliver a world class guest experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Become a trusted partner of your hotels within your territory, developing close relationships with owners and staff
- Take full ownership of the guest experience in each hotel
- Ensure that hotels meet company standards through regular audits, investigations and training
- Ensure that hotel information is displayed correctly on all online channels
- Resolve guest queries and issues as they arise
- Conduct regular reviews with hotel owners and staff, collaborating to further improve the customer experience
- Develop a deep understanding of the technology and different products
- Ensure that the brand's technology is deployed effectively in hotels
- Understand local needs and issues, and communicate accurately to technology team.
- Collaborate with the technology team to develop new products and features where necessary
- Ensure that revenue opportunities are maximised for hotels
- Ensure that the company is aware of key facts regarding room availability
- Deliver 100% availability, ensuring repairs and maintenance are conducted immediately
- Collaborate with revenue management team, providing input on pricing and availability
Required Skills:
- Must have experience of operations / management within the hotel/hospitality sector or online hotel booking platform industry
- Clear track record of success in operations and customer service
- Experience of dealing with external Stakeholders
- Educated to degree level, with a strong academic record
- Experience in a high growth business, tech-enabled start-up advantageous, but not essential
- Strongly inclined to do high quality and impactful work in a dynamic and unstructured environment
- Background in hospitality is preferable, but not essential
- Be able to demonstrate an ability to work autonomously and have a stable work history.
