REED Procurement & Supply Chain are recruiting exclusively for a business in Newcastle who are looking for a Purchasing and Projects Administrator on a permanent and full-time basis. 

Working alongside a supportive and friendly team, this is a great opportunity for an experienced purchasing/procurement administrator to grow their career in a global and leading business!

This is a full-time and permanent role working Monday - Friday 09:00-17:00.

The salary on offer is £18,000-19,000 per annum. 

Duties will include;

- Creating sales orders in SAP
- Take customer payments and email payment confirmations
- Email courier tracking details to customers
- Liaising with stores to arrange the despatch of goods
- Manage customer payment confirmations
- Stock checks
- Liaise with Engineering and Technical support teams
- Manage supplier price spreadsheets
- Arrange warehouse transfer and shipments with stores
- Create purchase orders
- Inform teams of purchase order information

You will need to be;

- A strong Administrator
- Ideally experienced in a Procurement/Purchasing background
- Great attention to detail
- Process driven in approach 
- Good communication both written and oral
- Confident in approach
- Well organised and hard-working
