Full Job Title: Direct Imports Logistics Coordinator
Salary: £25k plus benefits
Location: Chelsea, London
This role is a crucial position within the company and requires an individual with a solid logistical background and excellent numerical skills who is available to begin straight after the Christmas period.
As the Logistics Coordinator your responsibilities will include the following:
- Prepare all documents for customs clearance.
- Ensure customers orders are delivered by the required dates.
- Remotely facilitate the shipping of products from our factories to our customers.
- Deal with pricing and stock availability queries for customers over the phone.
- Proactively encourage customers to place orders and follow through to delivery.
- Interact with our UK 3PL partner and manage all logistical exceptions.
- Liaise with Quality Team to avoid quality control issues.
- Manage activities throughout the order cycle to make sure established deadlines are met and customers are informed of any changes.
- Continually reviews costs and economies of scale to keep logistics costs down where possible.
- Other ad-hoc duties as and when required.
Skills needed:
- Excellent numerical analysis skills
- Proven track record in a role where end-to-end ownership of a logistical cycle was required.
- At least 2 years of using any ERP system
- Working hours are Monday to Friday 8:00am to 4:30pm.
