The business, which is highly successful with a strong order book, is seeking talented procurement professionals to contribute to ongoing change and transformation at an exciting time in its development. This role is based at a key strategic site which is easily accessible from large parts of South Wales and the South West.

Reporting to the VP Procurement and contributing as an influential member of a dedicated integrated project team, this newly created role will support one of the company’s major business units in the delivery of key customer contracts/strategic programmes. Interfacing with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders (including customers), the role will have overall accountability for the procurement elements of all programme deliverables from initial design through to production and beyond.

Candidates, ideally MCIPS qualified and of degree calibre, will have proven experience in a comparable strategic procurement role preferably gained in a programme-led manufacturing environment. Relevant sectors include but are not limited to automotive, aerospace, defence, rail, off-highway, capital equipment and medical devices with a strong NPI bias. The ability to build solid working relationships and operate as part of a cross-functional team is essential and ideal candidates will enjoy working in a dynamic, change- oriented environment.
