This highly regarded, globally successful Facilities Management organisation is seeking to hire a Deputy Contract Manager for a UK based client portfolio.

A City & Guilds 2382-15 17th Edition qualification is required for this role.

In this role, you will be responsible for delivery of all hard FM services, as well as supporting the Account Manager with delivery of cleaning, reception and concierge services across a multi-site portfolio.

You will also take full ownership of M&E, Critical Engineering and Financial Management for the account, building excellent relationships with stakeholders to ensure the expectations are both met and exceeded.

Responsibilities of the Deputy Contract Manager will include:

* Line management of Engineer and Facilities management staff
* Self-delivery of the Critical Engineering element of the contract
* Advising client on all M&E issues across the property portfolio
* Ensuring full statutory Health & Safety compliance
* To ensure the hard services budget is adhered to at all times
* Working closely with subject matter experts from other service lines within the business
* Tendering, negotiating and managing contracts for all hard services subcontracted service lines

Deputy Contract Manager - what we're looking for:

* Proven track record in M&E in high profile, corporate environments
* Strong background within Critical Engineering
* Understanding of financial management and reporting, P&L management, budgeting, and revenue accruals
* Ability to manage a team across multiple service lines
* Strong supplier negotiation and relationship management skills
* A proven track record in total facilities management services
* The flexibility to work out of hours and at weekends when required, as well as offering 24 hour response to emergencies
