As a Key Accounts advisor, you will provide a first-class service to our client’s Dutch speaking customers.

In this diverse role, you’ll respond to inbound queries, provide updates regarding deliveries & administration support, call customers to promote the benefits of our client’s solutions.

You’ll liaise all team members & customers to ensure their expectations have been achieved & more. Additionally, you’ll help with queries from UK-based customers when required.

Key Accounts duties will include:

  • Respond to all in bound queries on all matters e.g. orders, enquiries, Proof of Deliveries (POD’s), complaints etc.
  • Provide a first-class service to our Dutch customers.
  • Communicate with all customers to keep them informed pro-actively about deliveries.
  • Provide administrative support where required.
  • Call customers to promote the benefits of Integrated supply chain services and

logistics solutions.

  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships.
  • Develop a trusted advisor relationship with key accounts and customer stakeholders.
  • Ensure the timely and successful delivery of our solutions according to customer needs and objectives.
  • Maintain and update customers’ records accurately and in accordance with data protection requirements.
  • Liaise with all team members and customers to ensure expectations have been achieved and more.
  • Assist with queries from UK-based customers when required.
  • Communicate with drivers throughout the day ensuring they are meeting customer demands.
  • Work efficiently as part of the team to achieve the departmental standards.
  • Take responsibility for own personal development, in line with agreed annual performance objectives.
  • Ensure the high level of Health, safety and welfare of all self and others through adherence to the Health and Safety statement and policy.
  • Keep work area clean and tidy and clean as you go.
  • Offer solutions and challenge suggestions enabling continuous improvement and be adaptable and flexible in your approach to work.
  • Perform any other reasonable request.
  • Systems - Road Runner TMS, Microsoft Office, Impulse.

Skills & Experience

  • Fluent in English and confident speaker.
  • Previous experience of working in a busy Transport/Distribution environment.
  • Worked with Transport Management Systems.
  • Positive attitude and great time-management skills.
  • Enthusiastic and eager to learn.
  • Educated to Graduate standard.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Highly organised and able to work as part of a team to resolve problems.
  • Previous customer service experience.
  • Ability to work under pressure and remain calm.
  • Ability to learn quickly to develop technical knowledge quickly.
  • Focused on achievement of targets.
  • Committed to the ethos of service excellence.
  • Ability to deal effectively and patiently with others.
  • Professional and trustworthy.
  • Able to work to time sensitive deadlines and prioritise work.
  • Computer Literate (good working knowledge of Word, Excel, Outlook and using various different IT systems).
