FMCG Category Manager - North London- £45,000

This FMCG major are looking to add an ambitious category manager to their award-winning team. Within the exciting food and beverage category the successful candidate will look to take the lead on implementation and development of category strategy. The role will also have the opportunity for team leadership with management of two procurement executives to ensure they become best in class procurement professionals.

Food & Beverage Category Manager - Procurement Job Profile:

• Create and Implement cross-functional strategic procurement processes for new and existing supplier base
• Working closely with high ranking stakeholders both internally and externally to include and grow procurement in all areas of the company
• Management of the complete procurement life cycle, working effectively cradle to grave
• Working within a number of growing direct procurement categories, including but not limited to; ingredients, raw materials, frozen goods and fresh produce

Food & Beverage Category Manager - Procurement Required Background:

• Experience working in Direct Procurement, with specific work in relevant categories: ingredients, raw materials, food, packaging, and 3rd party manufactured goods
• Strong stakeholder management skills to deal with high ranking procurement professionals
• Degree + CIPS (beneficial but not essential)
