Executive Procurement Consultant

Procurement Executive - £30k - £35k + Package - Midlands

This specialist procurement consultancy is seeking bright and talented individuals to join their rapidly expanding team. Key responsibilities include:

• Creating and identifying opportunities for cost reduction and procurement improvements
• Outlining key areas for client category spend analysis
• Presenting client project reports to management and stakeholders
• Using procurement methods to evaluate and recommend suppliers
• Tracking and outlining savings delivery
• Develop innovative procurement strategies that yield results

Key skills required:

• Analytical and problem-solving mind-set with a hands-on attitude to procurement
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Previous commercial experience, procurement and consultancy is preferred
• Experience in project management
• Comfortable dealing with clients and stakeholders alike, with confident negotiation skills
• Self-motivated, with a professional approach to procurement
• A team player, who can also work independently
