Logistics Manager position available within a successful manufacturer who are well established within their industry and have a brand that are associated with quality. The role will suit applicants from a logistics and warehousing background. Applicants MUST have experience of managing the day to day activities within a warehouse environment but must also have a proven track record of implementing project improvements to increase efficiencies within a business. The successful candidate will have managerial experience and experience of managing budgets.
The role is within a fast-paced warehouse environment, overseeing circa 40 people. Reporting into the Director, you will be responsible for the day to day management of the warehouse/assembly department including production planning, overseeing a QC department for incoming goods, liaising with 3PL suppliers and managing costs/budgets. The role will also be project driven to move efficiencies forward within the unit.

The Role:
*Day to Day Management of a Warehouse/Assembly Department
*Managing a team of circa 40 people
*Cradle to Grave Improvement Project Management
*Defining, implementing and monitoring warehousing systems
*Inventory Management
*Liaising with 3PL suppliers; reporting and negotiating on costs
The Person:
*Must be from a logistics/warehousing background
*Will ideally have manufacturing/assembly experience
*Must have project management experience
*Must have experience with production planning
*Must have experience managing budgets
