Operations Manager ( responsible for Monitoring Station) - £27000 - £28000 + benefits
based in Darwen area

Manage a team of 16 including 4 supervisors… it’s a 24/7 operation so flexible approach to hours needed.

To provide direction for the day-to-day operations monitoring team whilst promoting operational efficiencies within the organisation. Through strong leadership you will primarily focus on building a high performing team, supporting individuals and the team to achieve this through many different methods and inspire through leading by example, coaching, personal development, and also through group activities to help the team work collaboratively building trust. You will develop strong working relationships with the other operations and department managers, ensuring process are aligned and operating most effectively.

Responsibilities - Lead and develop and strong, collaborative team through clear objectives, clear communication of strategy and allowing team members to be involved in development of the department and the business - leading regular, documented team meetings.

Support the development and growth of team members through coaching, mentoring, personal development and feedback in regular, documented 121s and appraisals / Achieve KPIs in line with company strategy and operational objectives - regularly monitoring progress and making improvements where necessary

Skills and Competence - Strong communication and leadership skills / Ability to build strong relationships with a wide range of stakeholders / Ability to develop and implement lean processes / Excellent time management with the ability to prioritise workloads and adhere to deadlines

Experience - Proven experience of successful team management in a customer service / operational environment.

Job Requirements - Minimum five years proven experience in a team leader/supervisory role with a level 5 equivalent management award or commitment to achieve within an agreed timeframe.

Proficient in managing and developing employees, providing coaching, mentoring and feedback to encourage and motivate individuals and teams.

Possess clear, articulate and effective communication skills

Strong sense of urgency in making the appropriate decisions in a timely manner

A working knowledge of security monitoring operations is desirable with practical, operational understanding of Video Analytics & CCTV systems, alarm systems and audio/video equipment (experience with SureView Systems’ Immix platform a plus).

Willingness to work weekends and public holidays as required
