Freight Operations professional needed in Dover

The job:
As a Freight Operations professional you will be responsible for process and will manage a range of European and UK roadfreight shipments, all from start to finish, using acquired skills to negotiate pricing, place bookings, accurately raise shipping documentation and manage customer issues. This is a senior role in the business.
About you:
As a senior member of the business, you will be a self motivated individual with the ability to use your own initiative and lead by example. The successful candidate will have a strong background in sales as well as freight operations.
You will:
- Have experience working within a Freight Operations role.
- Have experience in sales within Freight Operations.
- Knowledgeable of processing roadfreight, seafreight and airfreight shipments, ideally in a freight forwarding company, together with commercial pricing experience.
- Able to build excellent relationships with customers and suppliers.
- Able to prioritise, organise and manage time efficiently.
