OEM / Export Customer Services Advisor

We are seeking a self-driven and highly motivated OEM / Export Customer Services Advisor to join our forward thinking, successful electronic manufacturing company based in North West London (NW10).

Organisational environment:

The OEM/Export Customer Service Advisor will report to the OEM/Export Customer Services Manager, and work alongside the OEM/Export CSA. The role also involves working closely with the rest of the Customer Services Team (Front and Back Office), the ACT! Coordinator, Product Manager, Sales Team and Marketing Team, interacting and coordinating activities with them to ensure an excellent service to our Customers.

Your key responsibilities will be: (but not limited to)

  • Provide exemplary support to our OEX/Export customer

  • Deal with customer enquires via email, telephone and fax

  • Input/process sales orders, responding to customers enquiries to ensure smooth timely order processing for the specific same day/next day service level, which includes sorting, routing and progressing orders received

  • Liaise with urgent and ad-hoc requirements and enquiries

  • Communicate accurate information to all parties involved in the process and the end customer

  • Achieve a high product/process understanding to ensure the efficient routing of enquiries

  • Monitor customers’ accounts at the time of order, and liaise with despatch and accounts/finance to avoid any delays

  • Produce accurate and timely reports such as weekly sales forecasts/analysis, monthly quotation progress, Won & Lost quotes, trends analysis

  • Ensure customers and quote details are up-to-date in the system

  • Filing and admin activities

Your key skills:

  • Strong communication skills (written and verbal)

  • Customer services oriented and business minded

  • Excellent telephone manner and a professional approach

  • Ability to work well within teams and confident communicating at all levels

  • Experienced with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, Office and Power Point), ACT!, Syspro and SalesForce

  • Ability to identify and manage data from different sources in all electronic formats

  • Is proactive and driven, with excellent attention to details

  • Has experience working in the manufacturing and electronic/lighting industry

Other information:

  • Full time, 40 hours/week, Monday to Friday

  • Permanent (subject to 6 months’ probationary period)

  • Salary range: £19,000.00 to £22,000.00 depending on experience

  • Previous experience in a similar role will be essential
