Which is where you join the journey.

Every product. Every process. Every environment. Our vehicles continually set the benchmark for luxury, innovation and performance thanks to our unrivalled commitment to infinite detail. Join us within our Purchasing teams, and you'll be the driving force behind it all.

It is a very exciting time to join Jaguar Land Rover. With the development of advanced and sophisticated technology across the business, leading products need to be sourced and provided by one of the top Purchasing teams in the country. This is why we are looking for you to join our team. We are at the forefront of the industry when it comes to new technologies, manufacturing techniques and engineering. The opportunity within the business is only limited by your desire to succeed. Career progression is encouraged and so is the opportunity to travel with your work if required.

In your role, you'll be responsible for looking after your group of commodities and managing the sourcing process for these commodities. You'll be a specialist within your field, developing an understanding of manufacturing processes and how these can be used for cost-saving activities. You'll provide management, leadership and direction for a team of strategic buyers and analysts to ensure objectives are achieved by drawing on your experience of implementing continuous improvement techniques with purchasing activities. You'll be accountable for the global commodity strategy and make sure this is delivered to quality, cost and technology targets.

To be successful in your role, you'll ideally have come from a commodity management background and be a specialist within your field. You'll be the type of candidate who is able to look at a long-term strategy, but match this with the ability to see short-term gains. Being a subject matter expert for one or more manufacturing processes would be advantageous, and you'll ideally have the experience to use this knowledge to create commodity strategies and implement cost savings. Being a results-driven individual, you'll demonstrate tenacity, drive and perseverance, as well as the ability to deliver in a complex, highly demanding environment. You'll also be able to manage multiple challenging opinions and requirements in order to fulfil your commodity strategies, but also for the good of the business on the whole. A driving licence is required for this role.

Jaguar Land Rover considers that this role does not meet the criteria to be considered within the Home Office Shortage Occupation list. Therefore, Jaguar Land Rover will not support an application for visa sponsorship and all applicants for this role must have an unrestricted right to work for an indefinite period in the UK.

Bring all this to the home of premium innovation, and you'll find the opportunities to further your career with a world-class team, a discounted car purchase and lease scheme for you and your family, membership of a competitive pension plan, private medical cover and performance related bonus scheme. As a manager, you'll also be able to select one of our luxury premium vehicles to lease at a fraction of the cost. All this and more makes Jaguar Land Rover the perfect place to continue your journey.

Jaguar Land Rover is committed to equal opportunity for all.
