Your Next Position
As Supplier Relationship and Risk Manager, it will be your responsibility to protect the organisation against commercial, operational and regulatory risk, deploying effective SRM strategies to ensure coherence with best practice. Key responsibilities include:

Reporting and delivering commercial relationship management with strategic and critical suppliers to establish best practice in SRM methodologies.
Launching and embedding new SRM frameworks and ways of working to promote the organisation's desired operating model.
Delivering SRM strategies to effectively manage every day and exceptional supplier risk, in addition to conducting continuous risk assessments of the wider supplier base.
Managing key relationships across the UK business to ensure key supplier relationships are managed in accordance with set frameworks, in addition to providing coaching and guidance to consistently facilitate good practice.
Applying analytical skills to draw out key trends/insight to support the development and improvement of SRM work.

The pre-requisites for success
You will have detailed knowledge of SRM processes and frameworks, including the commercial performance management of contracts. You will also be able to display effective supplier relationship management techniques, including supplier segmentation and commercial management. You will also possess knowledge of strategic procurement and category management theories, clearly understanding the commercial risks associated with indirect supply chain. This will be complemented by experience of working with and influencing a wide range of internal and external stakeholders in a regulated environment.
