The Finegreen Group are currently partnering with Healthcare Partners Limited (HPL), a wholly owned subsidiary company of the Royal Surrey County Hospital NHS Foundation Trust. We are supporting HPL in the recruitment of a Head of Supply Chain.

HPL came into operation on 1st April 2018 and the company will transform the delivery of procurement and medical equipment servicing within the Trust. In doing this it will unlock significant financial and non-financial benefits for the Trust, as well as opportunities for growth and expansion in the future.

Historically procurement, contracts and servicing of medical equipment has been highly dispersed across individual departments in the Trust. HPL will consolidate and achieve synergies in these to bring about operational and financial efficiencies, as well as transformation of future service delivery. It will also release clinical staff from having to manage these items and so free up time for them to deliver more patient care.

Reporting into the Managing Director the Head of Supply Chain will manage the Supply Chain and Contract Management teams, providing strategic direction, to ensure alignment to the national procurement agenda. The post-holder will develop and lead the HPL’s supply chain proposition. They will help shape HPL into a commercially focussed, dynamic function, which delivers innovation, cost improvements and added value to HPL, the Trust and the wider Health Economy.

Suitable candidates will have the ability to manage and lead high performing teams and be seen both internally and externally as a figurehead for HPL. They The will work collaboratively to influence partners and embed cultural changes so that inclusive planning and delivery of strategy enables prioritised change through the implementation of a category and market management approach and the development and delivery of a collaborative procurement work-plan.
